1. Who's responsibility is it to schedule an inspection?: The contractor may schedule inspection on your behalf but the ultimate responsibility is the homeowners. The homeowner should make sure all inspections are scheduled and approved by the Building Inspector, including the final inspection for the Certificate of Occupancy/Compliance.
