History of the Shanley Hotel Session 2

Long time Napanoch resident, Doug Hart, will be speaking on the history of the famous Shanley Hotel. A student of history, Doug has used his background for the betterment of the community, serving with the Napanoch Public Interest Group and as a Town of Wawarsing Planning Board member since 2006. His close friend, Sal Nicosia, purchased the Shanley in 2005 when it was in great disrepair. During the renovation, Doug began to research the rich history of the place and the genealogy of its owners. And yes, he was there to record the seemingly paranormal activity. Famously known as one of the most haunted places in the country, Doug and Sal were the first to investigate the strange happenings.
